The Cost of Higher Education

Recently, we have discussed whether the price of higher education is truly worth the price. It became clear that each student did have a different idea on this topic. Reading the 3 articles did allow each group to come to a general consensus based on what the authors expressed. All three writers expressed how they felt about college and allowed us to explore outside sources and their beliefs based on higher education Each articles did discuss different aspects but they shared the following themes:      1. The authors generally think liberal arts makes you develop good character.      2. The authors think liberal arts will contributes to being more well rounded in the world.      3. The authors think they understand higher education more than the average person. Certain aspects I did generally notice were repetitive and some were assumptions that seemed very off. I say this because, one writer in particular stated that pursuing a higher education was not worth it yet he holds

The Impact of the Fast Food Module

After visiting different sources and even observing the recent debate on government versus personal control over fast food, It is only right that after all the insight, we would have formulated an opinion. Especially if we recall that as a class, we’ve recently discussed the flip sides that exist when debating fast food and its detriment. There is no question that fast food in itself is extremely harmful to the populations health, which is why we allocate so much time and effort into further acknowledging how it affects the consumers.   The debate conducted in Critical Reading, Writing and Speaking,   highlighted that there can be many opinions that revolve around this topic thus making it easy to debate.
